Gorleben (GER) – Menetekel
Founded in 2010, GORLEBENÂ describes their style as a apocalyptic mixture of Death, Doom and Black Metal enriched with clean vocals and atmospheric and frightening synthesizer/keyboard elements.
“Menetekel” is a warning about the destruction of our civilization and that the countdown on it is already running. Using time as a central element, GORLEBEN brings the predicted apocalypse into our present and makes it tangible from two temporal dimensions. The four tracks inevitably reflects the path of an uncertain future, marked among other things by the voracity of humanity. GORLEBEN divides, peering from an unkown future into the bleak present – mene tekel upharsin.
