Eyehategod (US) – Confederacy Of Ruined Lives – Digi CD
Animate Records 2026
BACK IN STOCK !!!!
US sludge pioneers Eyehategod delivered a ton-heavy masterpiece with “Confederacy of Ruined Lives” (2000), perfectly capturing the essence of despair, raw anger, and nihilism.
Sonically, the album crawls from the speakers like thick, toxic sludge. Heavily distorted riffs and crushingly slow drum grooves collide with the unmistakably pissed-off, ragged vocals of frontman Mike IX Williams. Constantly shifting between agonizing doom-laden passages and sudden bursts of filthy hardcore punk, the band creates an intensely oppressive and hypnotic atmosphere. A timeless landmark of the extreme underground.
This is the perfect opportunity to rediscover this cult classic—or to experience it in its full physical glory for the very first time. Presented as a limited edition of 500 copies in a premium 8-panel Digipak, this reissue brings back Eyehategod’s filthy, uncompromising sound and includes the rare bonus track “Sabbath Jam.”
